Leading learning is a team sport and to truly be an instructional leader, the principal must be able to effectively lead adults, develop content specialists in teachers, and maximize learning by being the process champion. In this session, leaders will explore how to serve as a true value add in every PLC and serve as an authentic instructional leader through the power of the process standards. Process = Engagement + Thinking ….. that's the power of process! Learning Objectives: Utilize process supports for leading learning; Discover how to easily plan and incorporate the process standards in daily instruction; Learn strategies and tools to increase rigor in questioning, discourse, and learning; Explore leadward tools to vary the stimulus and thinking for improved tier 1 instruction.
